Our Vision
"A Scholarly Community that Learns, Engages in Dialogue, and Embraces Inclusivity"
Our Aims
Scholarly Exploration of International Development Discourse by Bridging Theory and Practice
1. Learning: A Multidisciplinary Approach to Knowledge for Sustainable Development
We promote research on sustainable development through a multidisciplinary lens, encourage openness with broad perspectives, and build stronger collaboration across academic disciplines. KAIDEC also fosters intergenerational dialogue and connections within the academic community.
2. Dialogue: A Platform for Exchange among Diverse Stakeholders
We provide a public forum for researchers, government officials, international organizations, civil society, the private sector, and partner countries to engage in meaningful dialogue and collaboration. To support this, we host regular academic conferences, colloquiums, workshops, and roundtables.
3. Inclusivity: Advancing Equitable Development Where No One Is Left Behind
We are committed to achieving fair and inclusive development that leaves no one behind. By emphasizing a human rights-based approach, we aim to ensure that the benefits of development are equitably shared and contribute to the creation of a sustainable and resilient development cooperation ecosystem.
