The UNDP Seoul Policy Centre for Global Development Partnerships is seeking interns for a period of up to 6 months beginning in late August 2012. Interns must be enrolled in a graduate level degree to be eligible. BackgroundUNDP Seoul Policy Centre is looking for qualified interns for a period of six months starting end August 2012 to support its work in the areas of research, policy advocacy and communications. The UNDP Seoul Policy Centre for Global Development Partnerships was established by UNDP and the Government of Korea in the end of 2010.
The Republic of Korea graduated to a high-income status in 2001 after the implementation of a series of far-reaching reforms. Its experience of the past decades has attracted the attention from middle-income countries that draw inspiration from this remarkable transformation and seek concrete solutions for existing problems. Learning expectations The internship is expected to be a mutually beneficial experience, whereby the Center gets quality input which contribute to its work from the interns, and the interns are provided guidance and coaching, with specific learning in the following areas.
